Bio
Prof. Jianghao Wang now an associate professor in the State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information System, Institute of Geographic Sciences & Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is also a visiting research scientist at Department of Urban Studies and Planning, and Center for Real Estate, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also He is the co-founder of Beijing City Lab, an open research network for quantitative urban studies and policy. Jianghao’s research interests are in geographic information science, urban big data. He has published over forty peer reviewed journal articles, including Nature Human Behaviour, One Earth, Annals of the Association of American Geographers, Urban Studies, Regional Studies. He has completed or been undertaking research projects granted or entrusted by National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High Technology Research and Development Program of China, among others. His most recent research focus on modelling the effect of global change (climate climate and air pollution) on human behaviors through the analytical lens of emerging geospatial big data.
