Since July 2016: Has been working as a leading professor at State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environment Information System, Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

His interests are agricultural remote sensing, uncertainty of remote sensing data assimilation, and coastal ecosystem simulation.
